Matching the BG reel series, DAIWA offers an extensive series of sea rods for fishing in Norway, the Baltic Sea and tropical waters. The blanks made of HMC+ carbon fiber have pronounced tip actions with a strong backbone - ideal when fishing with a pirk or rubber fish for cod, coalfish or halibut and powerful headbutts and vehement escapes have to be cushioned. The spiral winding on the entire blank surface of the BG rods makes the rods extremely resistant and brings with it exactly the stability that is required in rough handling on the high seas. The reel seat has been equipped with a double screw to prevent accidental loosening of heavy sea reels!
